P/T Systems Application Analyst/Centricity   Responsible for supporting project plans and providing basic application support for Centricity and associated applications.  Serves as primary resource to implement project plans; addressing goals, deadlines, testing implementation and post-live support of assigned clinical systems applications. Develops and maintains application problem analysis and resolution techniques. Analyzes and resolves applications problems quickly and efficiently. Performs investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine project feasibility. Assists in the development of application specific work plans, task sequencing, and the extent to which tasks can be performed concurrently.  Installs upgrades/patches to the applications.  Serves as a contact for the end-users in area of expertise. Troubleshoots application problems in a timely manner. Maintains issue status and resolution in the tracking system.  Develops and maintains application specific support documentation where needed. Must be able to handle work schedules to address project deadline and performance. Good communication and interpersonal skills necessary. Knowledge of medical terminology. Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills required. Ability to think logically and apply knowledge and experience to solve information technology issues. Experience with Centricity EMR required. Experience with NextGen a definite plus. Additionally requires proficiency with the following applications: Microsoft Office, Access, Oracle and Adobe Illustrator. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and at least 3 years of related experience with clinical systems applications or an equivalent combination of education and experience; supporting GE applications including familiarity with VFE (Visual Forms Editor.)  PT Days; flexible hours. Subject to irregular work hours, depending on practice /department needs.
