Position located in Vinings, headquarters of Piedmont Medical Care Corp. Main role is supporting and developing a suite of complex MSSQL based health care software. Develops and maintains system/application problem analysis and resolution techniques. Analyzes and resolves problems quickly and efficiently. Assists in system-wide software installation, modification and support. Serves as a contact for the end-users in area of expertise. Troubleshoots application problems in a timely manner. Maintains issue status and resolution in the Support Magic tracking system, monitors Magic Queue, keeping management and users fully informed of on-going progress. Must be able to handle work schedules to address project deadline and performance. Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills required. Good communication and interpersonal skills necessary. Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, at least two years professional experience in the health care industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MSSQL, MSAccess, VB and/or Crystal Reports skills needed. Experience with GroupWise, Great Plains, Lawson, or Kronos beneficial. At least two years NextGen experience strongly preferred. Subject to irregular work hours & must participate in the department on-call rotation. Must have reliable transportation to travel to all PMCC locations and transport equipment if necessary. Occasionally required to work overtime and weekend work. FT Days Monday - Friday, flexible hours. |
